Unlike traditional photo paper that is developed using a chemical process, ArtBooks are printed with the most advanced inkjet printers developed by Canon.
We use a 12 colour pigment inkjet that is fully archival. This means that with normal use and storage, your album will be resistant to ageing and will not change colours/contrast over decades.
Each spread in our hand-crafted ArtBooks is printed one at a time, inspected, creased and hand-bound.
Although making albums this way is time consuming, we believe that time, effort and the keen eyes of a well trained printing staff are necessary to make books of such outstanding beauty and craftsmanship.
Most of our papers are 100% matte which is a great surprise to most clients (and photographers). The print is crisp, detailed and has a very modern and luminous appearance. Cotton paper has a very gentle texture which is just lovely to touch.
